Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it. The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins. This quartz is a milky shade of white with bright burnished gold veins snaking through it.
