14k Gold Byzantine Medieval Coin Pendant. King + Queen *Video*

For sale is a gold Medieval coin set in a 14k yellow gold bezel frame pendant. This large medallion style pendant is slightly concave and has intricate raised images on both sides. On the front, the pendant features a short, wide king standing to the left of his tall, thin wife. He wears a robe and crown and holds a scepter by his side. The queen has an elaborate headdress and draping sash and gown.

A little bird perches above the king's head, and tiny raised dots encircle the edge of the coin. On the other side is the image of a man with long hair, a beard and moustache, who appears to hold sheaves of grain in both his hands. He may have a halo above his head. Elaborate, mysterious symbols surround the man in raised dots.

The coin is set inside a large 14k gold circle, connected by four gold beads. The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain. This large medallion could be worn beautifully by a man or a woman. 

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
