For sale is an enchanting antique dancer pendant, beautifully crafted from solid 14k yellow gold with a wonderfully sculptural figure and an unusual carved jadeite tutu. She has so much personality—and best of all, she actually dances!

The ballerina herself is crafted from 14k yellow gold, with a graceful hourglass figure, long elegant torso and beautifully elongated limbs. Her face is only suggested rather than finely detailed, giving her a sophisticated, almost modernist quality.

Her wonderful tutu is carved from sage green jadeite, shaped into a full bell-like skirt with delicate vertical folds that give it movement and dimension. Below the tutu, her slender 14k gold calves and tiny pointed feet peek out as though she is poised in the middle of a ballet.

Our favorite detail is her pair of wonderfully long 14k yellow gold arms. Each is individually hinged at the shoulder, allowing the arms to swing freely backward and forward as the pendant moves. The effect is charming—this little ballerina really does dance when you wear her!
