For sale is a 14k yellow gold pendant with a 3-layer carved jade prayer wheel. This antique pendant was hand-carved from a single piece of jade in mottled shades of white and light green. A highly skilled artist has carved nested circles in this single piece of jade. The result is a large carved jade pendant with 2 moving circles in the center. The pendant is suspended from in a 14k gold frame with a floral design. The back of the pendant is carved with the same detail. The jade on the back side has some naturally occurring tan markings near the center (see magnified photo.) The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain. This is an unusually lovely carved jade pendant, well-crafted and vibrant.
**Please note: A previous owner has added some resin to the top of the pendant. The small rectangle of jade is intended to move freely, and resin has been added to keep it in place. Neither the jade nor the pendant are broken, but the residue of this resin is visible upon close inspection. See magnified photos and video for accurate view.
