14k Gold Australian Boulder Opal Pendant w Diamonds. 1.5" + 10g *Video*

For sale is an extraordinary 14k yellow gold Australian Koroit boulder opal pendant with pave diamonds.  This large, pear-shaped opal was mined in the Koroit opal fields in Queensland, Australia.  Each Koroit opal is characterized by a unique and intricate web of colorful veins that run through its matrix.  This opal is a very large, domed oval, with dark brown matrix (or boulder).  The brown matrix has an unusual and lovely pattern of colorful veins that spiderweb over the entire surface of the stone.  Please view the video to see the play of color in this lovely opal.  The veins of opalescence flash with purple, neon lime green, peacock blue, sky blue, and cherry red fire.  The opalescent veins are like tiny threads that glitter over the entire surface of the opal.  The opal is secure in a hand-crafted prong setting.  The opal is set at the center of a diamond shaped gold pendant.  One side of the pendant is set with natural diamonds in a range of sizes.  The diamonds are pave set, creating a wall of glittering brilliance.  The pendant has a lovely bail that forms an angled twist at the top of the pendant.  The opal is visible from the back of the pendant.  This pendant is truly exquisite.  You will not see another like this any time soon!
