14k Gold Antique Lavender Amethyst Cabochon Pendant. 1.5"+ 11g

For sale is an antique amethyst pendant in a large 14k yellow gold frame. Part of our Reimagined Vintage Collection, we created this pendant from an antique brooch. The result is gorgeous. The semi-translucent amethyst is a sublime shade of lavender. The gemstone is polished smooth on the top, and beautifully faceted underneath.

The amethyst has an interior "feather" or crack inside the stone near the center. (See magnified photos.) The solid gold frame has elegant scalloped edges and intricate floral engravings. The back of the pendant has scratches and a tiny hole where the brooch pin was removed. The amethyst is held securely in a bezel setting that is decorated with carved gold designs.

The pendant has a large attached bail to accommodate your chain. This large, heavy pendant is one of the most beautiful, expertly crafted items I have ever had the pleasure to sell in my store.

**The gold shows some wear to do age (scuffs and dings.) The back of the pendant has solder marks and a small hole where the brooch pin was removed.
