For sale is a 14k yellow gold nugget ring with Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz. Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today. It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure 24k gold ore running through it.

The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins. This quartz is a creamy shade of white with bright burnished 24k gold veins covering 90% of the surface. The gold veins form an intricate web over the surface of the stone. The ring has 8 solid 24k gold nuggets inset along on the shoulders; 3 on one shoulder and 5 on the other shoulder.

The rounded triangle shaped quartz is secure in a hand-crafted prong setting. The prongs curve up and over the stone with an organic, vine-like appearance. The gold in quartz is visible from inside the band of the ring.  The ring could be worn beautifully by either a man or a woman.
