For sale is a 14k yellow gold heart pendant with Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it.  The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins.  

This quartz is a creamy shade of white with  burnished 24k gold veins splashed over most of the surface.  The pendant is reversible and the quartz has lovely gold veins on both sides. 

The quartz is cut in a large slightly domed heart shape, and is prong-set inside an heart-shaped gold frame.  The pendant has a 14k gold articulated bail.  This pendant is classic, elegant and beautifully crafted to last many lifetimes.  It can be combined beautifully with diamond and pearl jewelry.
