For sale is a 14k yellow gold ring with a bezel-set marquise cut piece of Alaskan Gold-in-Quartz.  Gold-in-Quartz, also known as Gold Quartz or Gold bearing quartz is a rare and sought-after gemstone for jewelry makers today.  It consists of white (or gray or black) quartz with veins of pure gold ore running through it. 

The most valuable gems are those with white or cream quartz and lots of gold veins.  This quartz is a milky shade of white with bright burnished 24k gold veins covering 40-50% of the surface. The quartz is cut in a marquise shape with beveled edges. 

The gemstone is secure in an hand-crafted bezel setting.  The ring has a split shank design, with three bands of gold coming together to forming each shoulder of the ring.  This classic ring could be worn beautifully by either a man or a woman.
