14k Earwire + 9k-10k Yellow Gold Antique Faceted Circle Drop Earrings

For sale is a pair of 9k-10k yellow gold dangly circle earrings with 14k gold ear wires.  These antique earrings were made in England during the Victorian era.  They were  likely converted by a previous owner, who substituted the 14k ear wires for screw-backs.  The small, lightweight earrings have a graduated donut design, hollow and sturdy.  The "puffy" circles are beautifully faceted like gemstones, allowing them to catch the light as you move.  The earrings dangle from shepherd's hooks made of solid 14k gold.   The earrings are a lovely and unusual alternative to classic gold hoops.

***These earrings were made in England, where the gold standard is 9k.  I list them as 10k because ebay does not have a standard 9k category.  

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
