10k Yellow Gold Repousse 3 Hunting Hound Dogs Pendant. Art Nouveau

For sale is a 10k yellow gold repousse pendant with a trio of hunting hounds.  This Art Nouveau pendant was converted by my jeweler from a single antique tie clip. The pendant is a slightly domed oval with a detailed, finely crafted design. This style of craftsmanship is called repousse, and is created by hammering the pattern from the reverse side.

The dogs are depicted as they point their quarry, with their three heads overlapping.  The dogs are rendered in fine detail including the contours of their muzzles and noses, and the texture of the fur on their ears. The pendant has a large attached bail to accommodate your chain. This is an unusual, beautifully crafted pendant.  It would be attractive worn by either a man or a woman. Perfect for the dog lover in your life.

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
