10k Yellow Rose Gold Real SCARAB 1" Pendant w Tiny Legs. Antique

For sale is a 10k yellow rose gold real scarab pendant with gold legs.  Part of our Reimagined Vintage Collection, we converted this pendant from an antique stick-pin. Scarab jewelry was very popular during the Egyptian Revival period during the Victorian era. In ancient Egypt, scarabs were important symbols of rebirth and resurrection, as well as good luck and fortune.

This scarab is in good condition with the lovely iridescent green shell that makes these ancient creatures so captivating. The artist has crafted a spectacular gold under-shell and delicate curved legs for this tiny creature. Each leg has two tiny pointed pincers!

The scarab rests on a solid 10k gold "belly" and is held securely in place with four prongs. The pendant has a sturdy attached bail to accommodate your chain. This little scarab will bewitch you, and become a valued companion on your life's journey.
