For sale is a pair of 10k yellow gold earrings with Australian pinfire opals. The earrings are long and dangly. Each earring features a marquise shaped opal set inside a lotus flower of gold with a pyrope texture. The opals are classic old-fashioned Australian white opals with some nice pinfire. One has lots of cherry red fire, and the other opal has primarily green and blue fire. The opals are secure in multi-prong settings, and are backed in solid gold. The earrings come with 14k butterfly backs. These are well-crafted elegant opal earrings with old-world charm.
The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
