10k Yellow Gold Carved Crescent Amethyst "Man in Moon" Face Pendant

For sale is a 10k yellow gold pendant with a carved amethyst crescent moon and prasiolite accents.  This pendant offers so much to love!  This medallion style pendant is a large gold disk with a carved amethyst crescent moon set on the left side of the circle. 

The amethyst is translucent lavender at the top, and deeper purple towards the bottom.  The crescent moon is carved with eyes, nose and mouth.  The rest of the gold disk is cross-hatched with gold bands.  Three intersections of the gold bands are set with a small glowing green amethyst (green amethyst is also called Prasiolite). 

The crescent moon and the prasiolite gemstones are all secure in prong settings.  The pendant has an articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This pendant captures the magic of rich gemstone color with the enchantment of the ever-intriguing, never-ending mystery that is the moon.  Perfect for celestial beings who LOVE purple :)
