For sale is a pair of antique 10k yellow gold Australian opal earrings. Each earring features an old-fashioned round white opal with lots of colorful pinfire. There is a lovely and distinct play of colors throughout each gemstone. One opal has a small dark mark on the exterior. 

Each opal is secure in a four-prong setting.  The opals are visible from the back side of the earrings. The earrings have threaded posts, and come with 14k yellow gold butterfly backs. Opal earrings of this size and quality are simply not being made anymore.
