For sale is a pair of 10k yellow gold hoop earrings with Australian opals.  It is unusual to find opal hoop earrings, so I always try to purchase them when I spot them!  These medium-sized hoops are classic and elegant.  The opals are subtle in dim light, but flash with colorful pinfire in sunlight.  You will see purple, peacock blue, lime green, yellow and tangerine orange fire.  The front of each hoop is set with three oval opals.  Each opal is secure in a prong setting.  The hoops fasten with a tongue-in-groove clasp that snaps crisply open and closed.  These earrings will combine beautifully with pearl, opal, aquamarine and amethyst jewelry.   

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
