10k Yellow Gold Australian Opal Heart Dangle Hoop Pendant *Video* (C)

For sale is an antique 10k yellow gold circle pendant with a dangling Australian opal heart. Part of our Reimagined Vintage Collection, this pendant was converted from a pair of large screw-back earrings. This beautifully crafted pendant features an old-fashioned white opal with lots of colorful pinfire. 

There is a lovely and distinct play of colors throughout the gemstone. The opal has an interior feather line "crackle" along the top of the heart. Please see magnified photos. The large heart-shaped opal is secure in a three-prong setting, and dangles from a bail inside a filigreed graduated circle.

The opal heart moves as you move, catching the light and casting colorful light all around you. The opal is visible from the back of the pendant.  It is rare to find a heart cut opal of this size and quality anymore. This is quite a find!
