For sale is a 10k yellow gold pendant with natural emerald and pearl gemstones.  The pendant is a lavalier style pendant from the Art Nouveau era.  The pendant is unusual because it features an emerald briolette that is capped in gold.  The emerald dangles at the center of gold bands that are shaped in a lotus flower design.  The emerald has unusually wonderful green-blue color with good saturation and natural inclusions.  The facets of the briolette-cut augment and accent the beauty of the emerald.  The lavalier pendant also features tiny seed pearls above and below the emerald.  The pearls are set so that they can move freely as you wear the necklace.  The pendant has a large articulated bail to accommodate your chain.  This is an elegant, well-crafted, unusual pendant.  It is an heirloom piece that will be enjoyed for generations.

The emerald has a natural inclusion on the back that appears as a white crescent-shaped indentation in the stone. (see magnified photo.)  The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
