10k White Gold Synthetic 5 Ct Blue Sapphire Cabochon Ring. 10g

For sale is a 10k white gold ring with a large lab-created blue sapphire cabochon.  This ring has large, blocky mid-century modern styling.  The cabochon is man-made, and has the same chemical structure and Mohs hardness of a natural sapphire.  The lab-created sapphire is translucent with an ethereal lavender color.  This lab sapphire is not a star sapphire and does not display an asterism.  There is some slight wear to the surface of the cabochon, visible with magnification.  Please see magnified photos.  The gemstone is securely set in four thick, wide claw prongs.  The ring narrows to a half-round band at the back.  This unusual ring has wonderful clean, architectural lines.  It would be attractive worn by a man or a woman.
