For sale is a 14k yellow gold and silver tribal lantern bead necklace. This unusual necklace was hand-made in New Zealand, inspired by Maori tribal designs. The artist combined small round 14k yellow gold beads with and carbonized beautifully patterned sterling silver lantern beads to create a uniquely lovely necklace.
The effect is wonderful, with a stark contrast between the burnished gold and the patina of the silver. The necklace is sturdy, heavy, and beautifully crafted. This elegant chain can be worn alone as a statement or combined with other silver or gold chains and pendants for a layered look.
