For sale is a 10k yellow gold reverse carved intaglio bubble pendant with featuring the astrological sign of Taurus, the bull. This extremely rare piece dates from the 1940s - I've never come across one before!
This "bubble pendant" features a large domed glass cabochon that is carved and painted with the image, which is then placed on top of a piece of onyx to create contrast. On one side is the bull and a symbol of masculinity. On the reverse, the words "Taurus. The Bull. Stamina" seem to float in black above the background.
The cabochon is secure in a 10k gold bezel-setting. This pendant can be worn as a charm or pendant by either a man or a woman. Perfect for the Taurus or Taurus-lover in your life.
