For sale is a 10k yellow gold pendant with a repousse sea goddess on a lily pad. Part of the Sea Green Mermaid Reimagined Vintage Collection, we had our jeweler transform an antique stick pin into this pendant so it could be worn and enjoyed.
This pendant is beautifully designed and crafted. The pendant is the shape of a lily pad with the image of the woman depicted in repousse. The maiden's facial features are beautifully depicted in intricate and realistic detail. Her face and features are slightly rounded, like a young girl. The maiden is a pre-Raphaelite beauty with wild hair that swirls out behind her like ocean waves, with a flower tucked behind her ear. Her neck is gracefully arched, as if she leans towards something or someone with great longing.
The gold behind the image of the maiden has a rough, hammered gold texture. The edges of the lily pad are slightly raised and polished smooth. The pendant has an attached bail to accommodate your chain.
This pendant is truly a tiny work of art! Perfect for the maiden (or sea goddess) in your life!
