10k Yellow Gold Repousse Locket Pendant w Diamond. Art Nouveau Era

For sale is a 14k yellow gold repousse locket with a natural diamond. This antique pendant from the Art Nouveau era is truly spectacular. This large, round pendant is heavily decorated with an elaborate and romantic swirling knotted design. 

The center of the pendant features a small, old-fashioned rose-cut diamond. The diamond is secure in a hand-crafted bezel setting.  The gold around the diamond is engraved with a star-shaped flower. The reverse side of the pendant is polished gold with a series of curling initials (these can be polished smooth by a jeweler). 

The pendant locket stays securely shut until you want to open it. The locket's compartment allows you to keep a photo of a loved one safe and secure behind a piece of clear plastic. The gold of this pendant has a slightly rosy hue and it has an articulated bail for a chain. This is a large and simply stunning piece, and will delight you whenever you put it on :-)
