10k Gold Lion Aslan + Sunburst Signet Ring. Wide 2/3" + 7.8g

For sale is a 10k yellow gold ring featuring a raised gold lion and a sunburst on the front. The design on this ring is unusual and wonderful. This solid gold ring is heavy and sturdy. The band is wide in front and tapers toward the back. The shoulders of ring have elaborate raised gold scrolling designs.

The front of the ring is a flat gold disk featuring a  powerful lion as he strikes a proud pose. His triangular face, shaggy mane, and facial features are crafted with great care. 

The lion has a wonderful calm strength, reminding me of the wise, loving lion Aslan from the Narnia series by C.S. Lewis. Myriad rays of the sun shine down all around the resting lion. The bottom edge of the disk is decorated with a delicate pattern of intersecting circles. 

This ring can be resized and can be worn beautifully by a man or a woman. I have never seen a similar ring in over a decade buying and selling vintage jewelry!

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
