10k Gold Cameo Winged Harp Woman of Ireland Pendant. "Faithful Until Death"

For sale is a 10k yellow gold cameo with a winged woman on a harp with the words "Fior Go Bas." This cameo is truly stunning. The winged woman is known as Hibernia, the "woman of Ireland." She is beautifully carved and her outstretched wing forms the top of the harp.

A large crown sits above her head, and she is framed all around in heroic rays. This antique pendant is beautifully hand-carved in natural shell. The cameo has an orange-red background with the image of the harp in raised creamy white shell. The figure is beautifully carved in intricate detail. Looking closely, you can see the tiny features of her face, torso, and wings. 

The banner beneath Hibernia translates to "Faithful Until Death." The cameo is bezel set in gold. The pendant has small marks on the back where we removed the pin-back. The pendant has a attached bail to accommodate your chain. This is a beautifully crafted, unusual antique cameo pendant. 

Note: The pendant has small marks on the back where we removed the pin-back. Otherwise the gold shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
