9-10k Gold Cabochon Tanzanite Ring w Hand-Cut Diamonds. 1" + 6.6g *Video*

For sale is a 9-10k yellow gold ring with a cabochon tanzanite gemstone and a natural diamond halo. This unusual ring has an exotic look with its vibrant periwinkle color and large, diamond-studded starburst design.

The tanzanite is cabochon cut which displays its rich color and semi-translucence to best advantage. The crystalline structure of the gemstone is visible upon magnification. You will also see some natural internal inclusions in the stone, as well as some small scuffs and scratches on the surface of the stone (please see magnified photos and video.)

The tanzanite is bezel set at the center of a burst of diamonds. Each diamond is hand cut, and each has a unique, non-perfect shape. The four largest diamonds are set at North-South-East-West points like a compass, and smaller marquise shaped diamond studded gold pieces are set between them.

The effect is like a starburst or a flower in full bloom. Each diamond is secure in a bezel that has been hand-crafted to hold its specific, unique shape.

This underside of the ring is so beautiful it's a shame it's hidden! It features a criss-cross grid of gold in the sunburst shape that is truly lovely. The ring has a simple half-round band in back (2mm). If you are drawn to the colorful and slightly exotic, you will enjoy wearing this ring.
