10k Gold Amethyst Rose of Sharon Flower Ring. "Consumed by Love"

For sale is a 10k yellow gold Rose of Sharon signet-style ring with a rose-cut diamond. In the language of flowers, the Rose of Sharon expresses the meaning “consumed by love.” It is also known as the “endless flower.” Rose of Sharon rings were popular engagement rings during the Victorian era ring.  

The rectangular amethyst is a very pale lavender, engraved with the classic tiny blossom and bezel set in a frame of rosy-hued yellow gold. The flower is painted with 10k gold and has a tiny rose-cut diamond set at the center.  

The ring has more wear than most jewelry we sell - it is a well loved antique. The amethyst has scuffs and scratches and the edges of the bezel setting show wear as well. But this ring is beautifully crafted and well made, with a solid gold setting. It is a tiny size but can be worn as a pinkie ring or resized by your jeweler.
